Katrina Hille
Katrina Hille is the daughter of an immigrant, first generation American, and proud US Army veteran. She has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2009, and has shared her passion for Autism Awareness and Behavior Analysis with Southern New Mexico since 2010. She is happy to be back with Mariposa Autism Service Center as their Director of Autism Services. In both her personal and professional life, she believes in diversity, equality, inclusion and advocacy at all levels.
Katrina Hille earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the Behavior Analysis department at the University of North Texas where she did research on sibling interactions. For a brief period of time, she was adjunct faculty, teaching courses in Autism and Ethics, for Behavior Analysis Online at the University of North Texas, because her favorite color is MEAN GREEN.
Katrina is bilingual, having learned Spanish while she was a soldier, at the Defense Language Institute in Monterrey, CA. This has been useful to her in the borderland. Although she has experience networking with military installations at the national level, she has devoted most of her career to serving children across the southwest in multicultural communities.
Katrina is generous with her time, knowledge and resources. She has presented at conferences and workshops across several states, and has published a cultural awareness piece, Eat the Enchilada, highlighting cultural norms that impact in-home ABA services.
Katrina believes in open communication, and prides herself in being informal, yet informed. We hope that you will reach out to her with questions, concerns, and suggestions so that we can collaborate in meaningful ways
