Sara Litvak is the visionary founder of the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence (BHCOE).
Prior to establishing BHCOE, Sara’s expertise flourished as she served as a consultant for various state and governmental entities, as well as insurance companies. Her primary focus was designing robust quality assurance processes to ensure ABA organizations delivered clinically sound services. Notably, Sara played a pivotal role in overseeing the Quality Improvement & Assurance Initiative for the California Regional Center System, funded by the Department of Developmental Services. In this role, she meticulously evaluated the quality of care received by individuals with autism across California.
Sara’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the confines of BHCOE. She has served as the past Co-Chair of the Autism Special Interest Group for the Association for Behavior Analysis International and has also dedicated her expertise to the Association for Science in Autism Treatment as a Board of Directors member. As a published author and thought leader, Sara has contributed articles and book chapters covering diverse topics such as ethics, diversity, equity, and inclusion, quality assurance, outcome measurement, and value-based care.
Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Sara has been recognized for her outstanding contributions. In 2022, she was honored as the Woman of the Year by the Commerce Industrial Council Chamber of Commerce, and she achieved Finalist status for the LA Business Journal Health Care Innovator of the Year Award in the same year.
